Artist Highlight: POLYBIUS

Blending guitar-driven indie rock with pop, their sound takes inspiration from artists like Paramore, Muse, and The Veronicas. The result is music that's energetic, emotional, and made to be played loud.
With a growing catalogue of releases and a focus on building their reputation as a live act, POLYBIUS are all about big choruses, good vibes, and getting a crowd involved.
Their first show was at MoshPit in Sydney with their original drummer, Jett. To make things even more memorable, their bassist called in sick on the day of the gig. Despite the setback, they played anyway.
As the band continued writing and performing, the lineup slowly came together. Bassist Will entered the picture after walking into Simon's workplace looking to buy a bass amp, and Simon convinced him to join the band instead. Not long after, Tam found drummer Dono online, completing the lineup that remains today.
Now made up of Tamzin (vocals), Simon (guitar), Will (bass), and Dono (drums), POLYBIUS are four close mates creating pop-rock built for live audiences. Drawing influence from artists such as The 1975, Paramore, and The Veronicas.
Since forming, POLYBIUS has continued to write, record, and perform across Sydney while steadily expanding its reach throughout New South Wales. Following the release of their debut EP, After Hours, the band continues to build momentum, bringing their high-energy live show and heartbreak-fuelled anthems to audiences both up and down the coast.
